Age II

I think both references to her age should stay until a birth or death certificate is shown online. The Social Security Death Index will report her death in another month or so, and will be the final arbiter, she would have to have shown a certified copy of a birth certificate to get an SS Number. Citation Needed for Lyrics

I'm wondering if anyone else wants to comment on SmackBot's addition of citation tags to the 2 songs at the end of the article. There's hardly going to be a definitive reference, and it seems out of character to add a link to one of the ad-ridden lyrics sites that anyone can find for themselves. Does a lmgtfy link qualify as a citation? (mostly joking, of course). Acabre (talk) 02:16, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Well, the songs are interesting, but WP policy is clear. For these claims to remain in WP someone will need to provide a verifiable, reliable secondary source citations for each of the songs/lyrics; else it is WP:OR. N2e (talk) 18:09, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Some sources not matching statements

In reading some of the sources for some of the statements in the article, I'm finding that they do not support those statements. It is of vital importance that the statements in the article be verifiable and backed up by the sources they cite. I'm rewording or taking out parts where I find that to be the case. If I've missed something in these sources, please quote the statements that back up our article. For example, I didn't find support in [1] for 'handcuffed on the floor and bled to death' or 'police planted drugs'. I'm about to review the rest of the refs for that sentence. • Oppose: As far as I know, Wikipedia consistently uses "Shooting of" for articles about non-murder deaths by shooting, and the vast majority of the people discussed in the "Shooting of" articles were killed. • Support per nom. Title of the article should reflect what happened, i.e. she was killed. The term is used in other articles about people killed by LEOs by means other than shooting (Killing of George Floyd, rather than strangling of George Floyd). Not sure why shooting is different. • Oppose per BarrelProof and per WP:CONSISTENT. There are 266 entries under Category:People shot dead by law enforcement officers in the United States and, unless there is a mass renaming of all such entries to "Killing of..." or "Fatal shooting of...", it would not be useful to single out individual article main title headers for renaming while hundreds of analogous headers remain unchanged. On the other hand, had there been a murder conviction, then the main header would have been moved to "Murder of..." —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 07:00, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
