Concerto

edit

Hi Antares, welcome etcetera. I saw you at Honda Concerto and agree with you 100%. Be aware that you may not revert another user too frequently, see WP:3RR. I will report the other guy if he reverts again. Best,  Mr.choppers | ✎  13:40, 16 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Also, edit summaries like this are unacceptable. If you find yourself getting that heated step away from the article for a time, rather than make personal attacks. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 16:50, 17 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Understandable. I make no excuse for my outburst. Also, might I suggest locking the wiki page of the Honda Concerto indefinitely? This editing war is out of control, and the other individual is showing no intention of stopping until they get their way. Antares600 (talk) 16:59, 17 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've already blocked them from the page indefinitely. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 17:00, 17 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Main infobox images

edit

Antares, most of your edits are valuable contributions. But you have to read WP:CARPIX and stop "updating" the main infobox pictures to (often low quality) shots of the most recent model. There is no such recentism here. Additionally, I suggest you read the remainder of the guidelines. Photographs taken with extreme wide angle lenses, at car shows, or with peculiar lighting, are not preferred. Thank you,  Mr.choppers | ✎  02:29, 19 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Did I vandalize the "Maxus G90" article?

edit

Last time I put the images about the vehicle on the roadside, why is it unacceptable for me to put into Maxus G90 article? Guyrichtheman (talk) 02:22, 2 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi again

edit

I agree with this edit, but I want to draw your attention to that being "closer to the vehicle" is not what makes it a better photo. As per WP:CARPIX: Do not get too close to the vehicle. Rather step back and take a photo from a distance. The easiest way of finding the right distance is using a focal length of 50–70 mm. Thank you,  Mr.choppers | ✎  20:42, 13 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

User talk pages

edit

A user is allowed, with only some specific exceptions, to remove content from their talk page - see WP:USERTALK. Restoring content so removed, as you did here is therefore disruptive; as you put it: Don't do it again. Dorsetonian (talk) 09:36, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Stop please, thanks

edit

What’s vandalism? Vandalising is making purposefully bad edits. From what I can see, a numerous amount of your edits have been reverted. Two of my edits that you’ve reverted have been reinstated by Andra Febrian. Please tell me how I’ve vandalised. If anything, you’ve been the person vandalising, due to the large number of edits you’ve made that have been reverted. Please stop misusing the word vandalism. Ask literally anybody else and not one single person BUT YOU and probably some joker will say the edits I make, that actually improve Wikipedia are what you call vandalism.

I’d also like to point out I’ve done the complete opposite of vandalism. I’ve

Does that look like vandalism? Again, please stop calling random edits “vandalism” because you clearly don’t know what it is. Cease your vandalism — QuattrostagioniIV (talk) 09:39, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please minimize the use of primary sources

edit

Volvo.com, related to Volvo products is a primary source. Wikipedia prefers secondary and tertiary sources. Primary may be used with caution. Car and Driver may be preferred. Primary sources such as Volvo.com's content is possibly self serving and could be intentionally misleading. Thank you! Adakiko (talk) 11:38, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Trumpchi M7

edit

The article Trumpchi M7 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:TOOSOON

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Deletion discussion about Trumpchi E8

edit

Hello, Antares600, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username TartarTorte, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Trumpchi E8, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Trumpchi E8.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|TartarTorte}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Toyota

edit

Modellista as a redlink deserves to be listed, but Scion doesn't because they lasted less than 15 years? Is this some sort of automotive project rule? --Onorem (talk) 15:33, 6 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Modellista is an active division of Toyota that mainly operates in Asian countries (though Toyota's considering launching the brand in the US), Scion is no longer an active company, having been merged back into Toyota after less than 15 years of existence. It stated that it was left up for "historical context", but Scion is not historical in any sense of the word (I class historical as having been around and active for 50+ years). Also, Scion had no notability. It was basically a brand for Toyota to import Japanese models to sell in the markets that Scion was available in in an attempt to draw younger buyers to the brand. It had no identity of its own. Hell, it didn't even have its own dealerships (all Scions were sold in Toyota dealerships). Antares600 (talk) 20:33, 6 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

I reverted your edit to Meiko (software) per this deletion discussion which determined that the subject is not notable. You provided no sourcing or claim of notability. November 2023

edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Pontiac Grand Prix. --Sable232 (talk) 03:04, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I've given valid enough reason, you just refuse to accept it. I'm beyond sick of the constant fights you and every other admin choose to pick with me. It is a constant occurrence with you people. It's targeted hostility at this point. You all have done nothing but antagonize me for pretty much the entire time I've been on here. It is beyond infuriating. I try to make improvements for the better, but you all just revert them back and say "it was fine before. Abide by our rules or get banned lul". It's exhausting to deal with you people. Seriously.
