Newspaper format
editКомсомольская правда can't have been a tabloid - firsthand experience in the Soviet times, the only national tabloid of a kind being the weekly Известия supplement Неделя. It was a regular broadsheet published by such serious body as the Central Committee of the Young Communists League Комсомол - ЦК ВЛКСМ. In my senior high school years my family subscribed. After the fall of the USSR it did become essentially a tabloid, losing almost all decency but retaining the name. Quality materials authors left for Российская газета.
