This page appears to be Carlist propaganda. There is no framework for setting Sixto Enrique within the framework of the Spanish monarchy, no elucidation of his relationship or dealings with the de facto ruler of Spain, Juan Carlos de Borbón, nor explanation for what his role within Spanish society is. --Iamvered 22:22, 23 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I started this page in order to help complete entries about Carlism. The information is, I believe, fundamentally correct, although it could certainly be improved or added to. Chanza 01:58, 2 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have made a few minor improvements in this article. As no further objection has been raised, I am removing NPOV.--Chanza 01:28, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Carlist claim

The question would be; Is his elder brother still a claimant? If he still is why does it say in the box on his page that he was "succeeded" by Sixtus Henry?Gerard von Hebel (talk) 22:38, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

This point has now been clarified. It would be nice, however, if the article mentioned what actual connection to Spain he has. Has he ever visited that country? Can he speak Spanish? One reason Franco chose Juan Carlos over the Carlist claimants was that Juan Carlos was truly Spanish, whereas Carlos Hugo was French by almost any meaningful definition. I'm wondering if that's equally true of Sixtus. — Lawrence King (talk) 00:00, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Answered my own question: Sixtus gave a brief speech at a Carlist rally on July 25, 2005 in Haro, La Rioja [1]. So he certainly has visited Spain, and apparently speaks Spanish. — Lawrence King (talk) 02:35, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced claims

I was able to find in the Traditionalism (Spain) article information which claims Sixtus and his movement is aligned with the Society of Saint Pius X, but there are no sources to back it up. Currently this article does not even claim he is Catholic. To conform with WP:EGRS and WP:CATV we need to support all assertions in the article with reliable secondary sources. I look forward to finding some. Elizium23 (talk) 03:31, 14 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
