I put the contradiction tag because the organisation and strength sections completely contradict each other, stating very far apart figures. --HJV 00:09, 4 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I would like to merge with with Nepalese Army. all branches of the military are part of the army.--Jiang 11:26, 18 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I am in the process of updting this section with the latest info. I,m short on time so it may take a bit of time for me to complete it.--MED12345678

I'd support the merge and urge that the article(s) be rewritten. Both this and the Nepalese Army article linked above are a bit of a mess. MrZaiustalk 12:41, 17 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

the equipment inventory of nepal army is needs a major revison. nepal army has never used AK 47 or L85A2. similarly, nepal does not have fighter aircraft of any kind. nepal does have 2/3 Antonov An-28 but not 22 as stated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.159.12.200 (talk) 19:25, 31 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Need Info Check

edit

Article requires major revision or complete rewrite. Lacks some of the most basic information, such as current troop strength.

Information on vehicle/equipment inventory seems like an original claim and completely fraudulent.

The Nepalese Army, with a supposed budget of 57 million dollars does not have nearly 20,000 Armored Personnel Carriers, and 51,000 120mm mortars, totaling about 75,000 artillery pieces in total. A single 120mm shell costs hundreds of dollars just for comparison.

I will do my best to heavily revise the article in the following weeks. Gryffon (talk) 12:14, 9 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

NUMBERS

edit

Hi What is really bothering me is where the heck are people getting these numbers for the amount of vehicles and weapons in the NEPALESE MILITARY inventory.... i mean that is just ridiculous. how can napal operate 410x WZ551B APC when there is less than 3,000 of them in the world most are in chinese operations 1,200 whilst the rest are spread out, I have not seen any evidence that nepal even possess this apc. same goes for the Casspir apc 9240x units ohhh come on there was less than 4000 units build in the wole world and today there is less than half operational and again. this page needs major cleanup62.31.57.185 (talk) 15:07, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
