Hal or Harold?

edit

My apologies for this edit back in March, which was wrong. Primary sources clearly show that his middle name was Hal, not Harold. Hopefully the article will now be maintained to show the correct name. Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:39, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ref 2 says Harold, so unless we get a different source it stays. Primefac (talk) 15:13, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I was responsible for changing "Hal" to "Harold" in this edit back in March. However, I was wrong, and that source is wrong. Checking primary sources, it is clear that the IP edits are correct and that his birth name was Hal. There are plenty of good sources that can be added if you feel you need them - here, here, here, here, etc. etc. So, allow me to revert my earlier error. Thanks. And I've added in the ref. Primefac (talk) 16:06, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
