I think there should be some citations, but I'm not sure how to ask for them.Kitty Davis 10:57, 30 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

since when is socialism a totalitarian ideology? SimondelaCourt (talk) 10:09, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have added some references. I can not find evidence for the statement that Nekschot's books are treated like "Mein Kampf" by the Dutch National Library; no such information can be found in the catalogue. The album is for sale in normal cartoon bookshops; so I have removed that statement, although it may be correct. Nekschot is on record as stating that socialism is a totalitarian ideology; I can not find a reference.Jona Lendering (talk) 20:38, 17 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup tag

edit

I think this article needs ordering, it read like a collection of data picked from different newspaper articles in chronological order. Info needs to be summarised and catgorised a little better to improve readability. -- Bakabaka (talk) 15:01, 21 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

82.168.32.40, could you please explain your removal of the {{cleanup}} tag from this article? Is till think the article poorly structured and in need of cleanup. -- Bakabaka (talk) 10:14, 22 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Holland Hardcore

edit

Removed the reference to Holland Hardcore as this issue isn't related to the Gregorius Nekschot case in any way.

Problems

edit

This article reeks of POV. I'm removing the last three section, because they're irrelevant and original research. The first two images make no sense to me, could someone add some captions or remove them? risk (talk) 12:16, 19 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

real name?

edit

Shouldn't we list his real name? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.127.130.94 (talk) 16:23, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Deleted sentence

edit

I have deleted the sentence: "All three cartoons clearly fuel negative ideas about immigrants". As Gregorius Nekschot's criminal lawyer, I strongly object to this (defamatory/libellous) sentence. It is presented as fact, while it is merely an allegation, forming part of the current prosecution of my client. As yet, there is no irrevocable judgment in the case.

Update needed

edit

This article badly needs an update; it doesn't contain any information more recent than 2008. It states that Nekschot was prosecuted, but what was the outcome of the prosecution? Surely the case must have concluded by now? Robofish (talk) 22:50, 30 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

The case was dismissed in September 2010. We don't have the right to a speedy trial like in the USA and the are many backlogs in the justice system so that is why it took so long. SpeakFree (talk) 21:25, 16 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Culled the text

edit

I culled most of the text, it was full of overly detailed minutiae and contemporary opinions which don't support the article and which are only interesting for people wishing to study the incidents surrounding Nekschot in detail, which is not what Wikipedia is for.
