Sandwiching?

edit

@Ian Rose: what do you mean by "avoid sandwiching"? The current version looks quite ugly on my computer. (looks quite bad on an iPad Air as well) A455bcd9 (talk) 14:59, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I use two Windows laptops of somewhat different sizes and resolutions and the current formatting works effectively on both of them -- removing it pushes the biplane image below the infobox and thus it appears in the next (World War II) section, where it doesn't belong, and sandwiches the text between itself and the image of the five officers. Certainly I'd like to see images appear nicely on all devices but not sure that's always possible, the screenshot you use doesn't look as bad to me as the biplane image appearing in the wrong section... Got it. Removing "upright=1.2" and adding {{clear}} before the next section may solve the problem as well. A455bcd9 (talk) 08:38, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi again, I didn't remove the upright parameter but I did move the biplane image up by splitting a paragraph in the relevant section and also threw in {{clear}} for good measure, hopefully this will help. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 09:30, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Looks perfect, thanks! A455bcd9 (talk) 10:40, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Great, nice working with you on this improvement. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 14:41, 11 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
