I am a bit confused

edit

as to exactly what this statement means.

"His style is cited as an influence of Pierre Puvis de Chavannes, Jean-Paul Laurens, and Paul Baudry."

I believe it means that he was influenced by these guys, but . ..... Also, to claim "cited" and then not give a reference is poor encyclopdiapersonship. I am inclined to just remove it, but thought I'd post here first. EInar aka Carptrash (talk) 15:09, 15 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

The Resources of Wisconsin

edit

The painting of The Resources of Wisconsin on this page contains a red ball in the center of the image that doesn't appear in the actual painting. What is that thing? — Preceding unsigned comment added by UterZorker (talkcontribs) 12:30, 11 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
