Roundel

edit

Does anyone know if the Austrian-Hungarian air forces had a roundel or other insignia? Cheers V. Joe 18:50, 30 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I believe they used an iron cross much like Germany's of the same period --GregRog 18:17, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Not a real iron cross. But similar. To avoid getting downed by german air crafts. http://upload.luquay.com/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/60/Cross-Pattee-Heraldry.svg/600px-Cross-Pattee-Heraldry.svg.png --78.104.124.180 (talk) 00:10, 7 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request for help

edit

I have started work on the Air commanders of World War I. Any help that editors can offer in the Austro-Hungarian section, or elsewhere, would be greatly appreciated. Greenshed (talk) 21:12, 8 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Imperial and Royal Aviation TroopsAustro-Hungarian Air Force – Move requested for consistency with Austro-Hungarian Army and Austro-Hungarian Navy ("imperial and royal" is basically just a synonym for "Austro-Hungarian"). The new title should also be more clear about the topic. Anonimski (talk) 23:48, 5 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Bad ISBN

edit

Because 1849182764 is causing a Checkwiki error #72: "ISBN-10 with wrong checksum", I removed the ISBN from the entry:

Chantis, Chris. Austro-Hungarian of World War 1 Osprey Publishing, 2000. ISBN 1849182764 Parameter error in {{ISBN}}: checksum, 9781849103767.

I have tried unsuccessfully to locate the correct ISBN on the Internet. I am also removing the second set of digits because, when I precede them with the "ISBN" magic word, they also produce an error. To be quite frank, I am suspicious of this source, and I have added the appropriate template. Zero hits on google or WorldCat for even the author's name alone.Knife-in-the-drawer (talk) 13:46, 28 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Recent name change

edit

@Colonestarrice:, please see The requested move from 2015. You do not have consensus to change the name of the article like this. I've noticed you've made these changes all over the place with articles related to Austria-Hungary. Please read WP:CRITERIA, WP:TITLE and WP:MOVE.--White Shadows Let’s Talk 05:02, 5 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
