Scoring structure

edit

Hey all, full steam ahead for the October event. How about something like what MILHIST does for their monthly contest? I removed the A class listings as those seem to be deprecated for TOL and its subpages. Basically people can self-assess article class for articles they improve up to B class. Maybe we should have some way of rewarding DYK noms and possibly a bonus point system for highly viewed articles? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Enwebb (talkcontribs) 15:35, 5 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Another thing that could be done is having a multiplier for collaboration? Maybe give 1.25x as many points if two (or more) people worked together to improve an article. There would have to be a difference between (for example) one person bringing an article to start class and someone else bringing it up to C vs two people working together to bring an article from stub to C. Collaboration would also speed up the process of improving these articles. The DYK aspect can be a multiplier as well. starsandwhales (talk) 13:31, 8 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
