It would help to have a "How to categorize images" link from this page. 99of9 07:38, 28 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

limited list

edit

I am wondering why i can only go to the first 1000 images in this list. It is obvious that editors have been working on this list and it is currently 4 or 5 days old and many images have iether been tagged correctly or moved to commons. Is it possible to have the listing go beyond the 1000 image limit? Thanks.--Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 16:44, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Commons images

edit

The list is adding many images from commons as uncategorized, but there is nothing that can be done from here (I don't think). Any way of filtering the list to exclude these images?--Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 02:30, 18 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I know, that's really irritating. It makes it difficult to find the pictures that don't have the proper copyright tag because this special page is populated by images from commons. I don't know what to do about it other than categorizing the commons pages on wikipedia. --Strangerer (Talk | Contribs) 20:10, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
    • If there's a Commons image here, then move any meaningful content/history to Commons and delete the Wikipedia description page (or tag it to be deleted {{db-i2}}. Once the Wikipedia description page is gone, the Commons page will show through. --BigDT (416) 00:59, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
That's the problem. Is there a way to have it skip the Commons images? -- Ricky81682 (talk) 01:30, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Broken or just nothng to report?

edit

There used to be several hundred if not more images listed on this special page whenever I checked but for the last several weeks at least it's remained empty at every update. Is something broken or have there just been a herculean effort to finally categorize every last image? --Sherool (talk) 17:26, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
