Hi, Visualising. Thank you for posting those on sources on Flickr. I have no doubt that Love Pump will be kept. By the way, to improve this article, could you use inline citations?

Here are some templates to help you cite sources. There are three main templates:

  • {{cite news}} : for news websites like CNN, Fox News, ABC, MSN, etc. I normally use {{cite news |first= |last= |authorlink= |coauthors= |title= |url= |work= |publisher= |date= |accessdate= * }}
  • {{cite web}} : for web pages. I normally use {{cite web |url= |title= |accessdate=8 January 2009 |last= |first= |coauthors= |date= |work= |publisher= }}. If anything (such as the author's name or the date) is not on the web page, then you should remove it from the template. The same goes with other elements in this cite web template.
  • {{cite book}} : for books. I normally use {{cite book |title= |last= |first= |authorlink= |coauthors= |year= |publisher= |location= |isbn= |page= |pages= |url= }}.

    * The accessdate signifies the date that the source was accessed. For example, if you accessed the source today, you would type 2009-10-15.

Then, you can remove the sources from the "External links" section and integrate them into the text. In addition to making the article more aesthetically appealing, inline citations will also serve to verify the information in the article. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page. Thanks, Cunard (talk) 07:22, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

WA Bands

edit

Have started by creating a draft stub for the The Waltons with a view to creating a full article in the next few weeks (including establishing its notability). Have been working on The Kryptonics - just need to provide references. Have also got a draft articlea for Charlotte's Web, The Neptunes and The Marigolds you are more than welcome to add any details to either of the draft articles - would be more than happy with any assistance. Charlotte's Web

edit

Have finished the draft on Charlotte's Web - to the best of my ability (given the limited reference sources). Was wondering if you could track down any additional references such as you did for Love Pump (ie articles from The West or X-Press magazine) which I could then suplement into the article before I post it. I can make a large body of material available to you for fleshing out a large amount of the Perth 1980's indie rock scene - but not sure about Charlotte's Web, amazingly.

Is it possible to get in touch by private email to discuss this? It's the issue of making these privately archived sources public and that they be treated properly that is of concern. Visualising (talk) 15:06, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Will email you contact details. Dan arndt (talk) 01:48, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
