Edit summary

edit

I've noticed you use the edit summary "coed" several times. "Co-ed" usually refers to education where both genders are taught together. Do you mean "code", as in a system for computer programming? LyrlTalk C 13:43, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

In fact it's supposed to be short for "copyedit", but I should perhaps be less lazy and write the whole word. This deserves inclusion (talk) 05:31, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Potentially confusing username

edit

Hi. I just noticed your username in a recent edit. When seen listed in an article history "This deserves inclusion" looks like an edit summary/commentary, rather than a user name. As such it seems potentially confusing. WP:IU

I know it can be hard to come up with a satisfactory user name, but with the potential for confusion, you might consider asking to have the name changed. WP:UNC Thanks. Zodon (talk) 23:22, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

There, now it's more clear that it's the user name. User:This deserves inclusion (talk) 17:18, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
