Japan Review

edit

Thanks! I assume you mean Kanagawa Shinbun? I really wish I could add more info to the article, but seeing as the paper barely has its own webpage I don't think it's possible. I was mainly worried about its move from shimbun to shinbun because there don't seem to be many articles that use the shinbun. I assume that your thanks means that's okay. =) — Indi [ talk ] 11:34, 1 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Review of Ooka Tadasuke

edit

Nice job on the edits. I did a few more, and merged the stub from Ooka Echizen into the article. If you need any other assistance, feel free and let me know.--み使い Mitsukai 20:27, 4 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Glad I could be of assistance. If there's anything else I can do, please let me know.--み使い Mitsukai 13:04, 11 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Warden Barbara Wagner

edit

A tag has been placed on Warden Barbara Wagner requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ww2censor 04:31, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Barbara Wagner (prison officer)

edit

An editor has nominated Barbara Wagner (prison officer), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Barbara Wagner (prison officer) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 20:59, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Central New Mexico Correctional Facility

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Central New Mexico Correctional Facility, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-82489.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Confusion

edit

I just don't think I can keep up with the atmosphere of the place here. It's too confusing. --Steve (talk) 03:42, 22 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

On your speedy deletion request

edit

You added the {{db-author}} tag to the Otter Creek Correctional Complex article — which indicates that a request by the article creator for deletion. The article history shows that you are not the article creator — rather it was created by User:W.marsh, thus the tag is incorrect.

If for some other reason, you feel that the article needs to be deleted, please review Wikipedia:Deletion policy. Thanks.

Pointless and Unfriendly

edit

This whole website seems to have become more pointless and unfriendly. Why bother? It's like everything elese in American Society - dense, bureaucratized, political, unfriendly.--Steve (talk) 08:18, 23 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I know.

edit

No, I am a guest here. No, Wikipedia does not belong to me. Yes, if I don't like it, I can leave. I understand.--Steve (talk) 08:26, 23 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
