Good call

edit

Good editorial decision--you just beat me to it. I don't know if it will save the article from deletion, but it certainly makes it look less like a resume. Best, Drmies (talk) 01:38, 11 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate it buddy. You can always add a keep argument to the discussion, and we'll see how it turns out. Cheers, Steamroller Assault (talk) 02:14, 11 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Anton B. Dougall article

edit

I noticed the note you left on User talk:Anton B Dougall after reverting all that copyrighted text. I see you told him not to use multiple accounts, so I'm sure you noticed the now blocked User:Antonbdougall. I believe that User:Tikitikiroom is also the same person. One of the two obviously named Anton accounts created the same article before. Then it was deleted and Tikitikiroom created it again as it's present incarnation. Since I'm not an administrator I can't be sure it was word for word the same as the earlier deleted version, but I think it was. Cloveapple (talk) 19:00, 18 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

You're probably right. But User:Tikitikiroom has been dormant for almost two months. If there is further activity on the account, we can take the appropriate measures. Thanks, Steamroller Assault (talk) 09:38, 19 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the perspective. I put a connected contributor template on the article talk page and left it at that. Cloveapple (talk) 20:22, 30 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Just a courtesy note to say that I have declined your speedy proposal since soft redirects are not eligible for A3 deletion - please see WP:Soft redirect. If still concerned, please feel free to take it to WP:RFD. TerriersFan (talk) 02:27, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good. Thanks for the insight. Steamroller Assault (talk) 02:33, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited Nodding disease, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pader (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of User talk:Richie 9Stone

edit

A tag has been placed on User talk:Richie 9Stone requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

User page redirects to autobiography in userspace. I can't open the user page directly to tag it, that is the page that needs deletion

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 21:53, 12 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
