Edit sumaries

edit

Hi, I have noticed that you often update player articles, could you please try to to provide an edit summary (such as update stats or pcupdate) this helps other editors see what you have done without having to check all the edits, regards King of the North East 20:35, 6 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Stats updates

edit

Don't forget to update the pcupdate date in the infobox to the date of the last match the player played; helps us other editors when tracking the stats. Just a friendly reminder :) --JonBroxton (talk) 18:25, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

and if you could add an edit summary along the lines of "game vs XXX, date" - that way we know which game data you're adding so we don't double-count! --JonBroxton (talk) 18:27, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Julian Baudet "Will join 01/06/09"

edit

That's January 6, 2009, which has already passed, if you mean June 1, 2009 than it should be "06/01/09". – Michael (talk) 23:48, 20 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Chris Gunter

edit

Hi. I reverted your edits to the Chris Gunter article because his transfer to Nottingham Forest is not yet complete. According to the Forest website, it will be completed on Monday. Cordless Larry (talk) 09:27, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Brian Shriver

edit

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Brian Shriver. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:13, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sources

edit

Sources! Sources! Sources! Sources! Sources! References! References! References! Sources!! You're driving me crazy here!! :D --JonBroxton (talk) 23:31, 25 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Also don't delete the links sections. The MLS bios never go away, and are important as they indicate the source of some of the info. --JonBroxton (talk) 23:33, 25 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Apologies! I'm far too hasty for Wikipedia, but the compulsion to keep MLS up to date is TOO MUCH. Will try to source/link from now on...including the new Seattle Sounders FC waives...

Freddie Ljungberg

edit

I just reverted your previous edit because you look here it says he's returning to Seattle so there's really no need to keep your source up there. – Michael (talk) 20:37, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sources, dude.

edit

You're doing it again, with Ray Burse, etc. Slow down and find your links. It's a pain in the ass having to check up after every change you make. --JonBroxton (talk) 00:18, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

David Estrada's number

edit

Where are you getting that David Estrada's number is going to be 9 for the Sounders? I haven't been able to find anything on the Sounders website or in my limited web searching that would support this. --Bobblehead (rants) 17:53, 5 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:Morecambe fc.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Morecambe fc.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fred the Oyster (talk) 02:57, 10 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Morecambe fc.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Morecambe fc.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.
  • If you believe the bot has made an error, please turn it off here and leave a message on my owner's talk page.

Babajide Ogunbiyi

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Babajide Ogunbiyi, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://wikibin.org/articles/babajide-ogunbiyi.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:52, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have tagged this article for speedy deletion as a repost, since it was deleted before per an AfD. I am unaware as to whether or not they now meet the notability guidelines, but if the article is kept an admin needs to restore the history to preserve the attribution for the earlier edits. Stats updates

edit

Good job man. I just finished my major project getting all the USSFD2, USL2 and PDL stats up to date; with you doing the MLS ones as well, we should be good to do for the last few weeks of the season. --JonBroxton (talk) 03:58, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nottingham Forest F.C. and Robbie Findley

edit

Why have you added Robbie Findley to the Nottingham Forest current players? Uni red (talk) 19:44, 21 December 2010 (GMT)

I didn't. I realigned the squad details by moving the (mid), erm, thing. Didn't notice Findley was in the squad! I just get annoyed when the right column is longer than the left column. Seabear84 14:59, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
