Hello. I need some help with several things that were flagged. I am doing a page on my old band "Zombie Gutz". All of the material pictures, ect. were created or designed by me. the only thing i copied that i didnt create was the reviews but i gave links and their names for credit. can you help me straighten out all of these flags?

thank you (Rconradical (talk) 14:37, 5 June 2008 (UTC))Reply

Hello, thank you for stopping by at my page... I did many works before with other wikipedia sites especially in Spanish, German and Malay. This is my first time setting up a presence in the english site. I was editing a malay page on the Bundestag and looking around for some update untill I saw this box for Politics in Germany on the english page of Bundestag. It has a new feature which I like especially because it did not show every information at once. I did try to translate and redo the box into Malay but something just no working. The show/hide button just did not show up and the other things behind the blue bar, too. So, I am on the mission to search for the creator of the template and would like to know what went wrong. Would appreciate if you can help me, too/ Tikar aurum (talk) 00:21, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for welcoming me on my User Talk page, Pomingalarna! I have made anonymous Wiki edits before, but decided to get fully into this properly, as a Wiki user, as it so much fun, and so addictive! Thanks again, I will get in touch if I need any help. Lovely that people like you are around to welcome us newbies! Blur79 (talk) 08:34, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for the welcome! I'm pretty new here (obviously), but it's great that people can be so welcoming to new users. See you around sometime! – ICDaniel (talk) 23:23, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am thankful for your note. I am new in English Wiki therefore I will only add some small parts on pages with contents familiar to me. If there are questions I will not hesitate to ask you. Thanks again.--Reg81 (talk) 09:43, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks a lot for your message on my page. Since I'm French I don't always understand how the English WP works, so I'll probably have problems. I hope you don't mind if I ask for your help sometimes. Thanks again. --AurelieM (talk) 12:26, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

--Clerkenwell2008 (talk) 09:14, 9 June 2008 (UTC) HI Pomingalarna, thanks for the welcome & the useful pointers. Will work on always remembering edit summaries etc...Reply

Thanks from WikiTraveller

I was a bit surprised by the Welcome.
It sure beats the first entry being a strongly worded "Why did you do that?"
Thanks.--WikiTraveller (talk) 15:52, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks for the welcome, unexpected but very much appreciated.
As a new user, it certainly helps to have those links close at hand.
I hope I've used this Talk Page correctly :) --OtherworldBob (talk) 17:25, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

New deal for page patrollers

edit

Hi Pomingalarna,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
