Enough to stir passions that photo - excellent! SatuSuro 09:39, 3 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey the bottom line on the tasmap art is we dont need tech info - just that it exists and is the govt current equivalent of what all the old state lands and surveys depts that all now call themselves fancy non state oriented corporate identities (i mean what originally was the lands and surveys here in wa is now landgate)- it is more important in my opinion to get a stub up which we can link to so what a non oz and geographically challenged outside reader can click on the link and have it explained what tasmap is - no necessary condition on whether it uses oz adg 94 or whatever - hey maybe ill start it a bit later tonight. Oi!

edit

You in the corner! - there - if your photos are your own they can never be challenged - do not even think that way - I'll be in Tasmania in December - and I'll come and rip your bloody pessimism off you and doubly assure you your piccies are an important part of the Tasmanian wiki project if you are not careful :) - never take another editors point of view on anything as final - talk to more than one to check on anything - and always take it easy - its never worth pulling your head in over permissions etc - you can still provide important contributions to the project and what you have done to date is excellent! Sorry if you feel wronged

edit

I'm sorry if you feel wronged, I am not picking on you nor singling you out - I have questioned the copyright/license of dozens of images previously, many of which were useful images like yours. There were two other Wikipedians involved who both thought the same as I did - User:Stifle who advised to add Template:npd to the maps, and User:Mardetanha who deleted them, but if you feel there's been an injustice, there's several avenues open to you. I hope you're not discouraged from adding to Wikipedia by this.

I'll not nominate your photos - they're obviously wholly your own work.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
