I think you sent the message about the removal of the title Mrs from the above article to the wrong person. It was not me but the previous editor who removed it. Malcolma (talk) 11:10, 29 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Select an article. Select a section you want to edit. Click on "edit." This changes the content of the section to editable. Once done, click on "Publish changes" at the bottom. If the edit does not appear as intended, you can open it again and try again, or go to View history (top menu) and Undo your changes. it is hard to 'break' Wikipedia.   Hello, I'm NinjaRobotPirate. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Scott Glenn, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:21, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Scott Glenn. The IMDb is not a reliable source, and the birth year is clearly disputed by multiple sources. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:56, 6 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

BLP discretionary sanctions alert

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:John Campbell (YouTuber). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. – 2.O.Boxing 08:49, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
