Barnstar

Hi, Not Brit. You deserve a barnstar.

To Not Brit, for a balanced discussion on the merits of Horcrux. Axl (talk) 10:32, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hey, look at that! I have been editing Wikipedia for years under a different handle (which shall remain secret) and never got one of these things. Three months into my new handle and shazaam! Thanks!

Why the removal

edit

So out of curiousity. Why did you get rid of that other user's comments on here a moment ago? Jasynnash2 (talk) 14:04, 14 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

REPLY He was repeating comments he had already made in other sections and the reply belonged in those sections. Plus, I thought it was boring.

Regarding your edit summary . . .

edit

Well, yes, Not Brit, reading your edit summary, it seems clear that you didn't know the true race of Paul Tagliabue. Well, now you know.  :-) Cheers! Unschool 03:42, 10 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Mark Hofmann

edit

You appear to be engaged in an edit war at Mark Hofmann. You have both recently broken the three revert rule. Please cease reverting and work out your differences on the talk page, or the page may need to be protected and you may be blocked from editing.--Cúchullain t/c 00:08, 19 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

I apologize and have made edits to the corresponding talk page.

  Civility Award
I SamanthaG award this civility barnstar to Not Brit. For reasoned, and civil discussion, exceptional flexibility, maturity & outstanding tendency to compromise with users who hold different views, seek common ground, be a team player, & see arguments from the perspective of others, rather than engage in edit wars at Talk:Oprah Winfrey#Family. Such behavior is extremely rare & deserves to recognized, praised & emulated. You are a role model for the wikipedia community. SamanthaG (talk) 12:38, 30 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Not Brit!

I noticed your input to the Mark Hoffman discussion page. I wanted to thank you sincerely. It seems that there are a lot of modern day "Missourians" (no offense to present day Missourians) who want to keep tarring and feathering Mormons. At times it seems that we are out there alone trying to defend our religion from the mud thrown at it. And when we do there is an instant attack that we are only omplaining because of our non-neutral POV based on our faith.

So when I read your response to John Foxe it was extremely refreshing. It's nice to know that others outside our faith will stand up to defend us against these unfair, insulting, and undignified attacks. You are a real peacemaker and won't be forgotten. Thanks for showing others what Christianity is supposed to be all about.

You're a modern day Good Samaritan.
