AfC notification: Draft:Smith & Dove Co. has a new comment
editFebruary 2022
editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at User talk:Theroadislong, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:50, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Women in Red
editHi there, Millworks, and welcome to Women in Red. It's good to see you intend to help us improve our coverage of women historians. I see you are making good progress on Draft:Jacqueline Moloney and Draft:Marcellette G. Williams. In this connection, if you have not already done so, you should find it useful to look through our Primer for creating women's biographies. As for historians, you'll find lots more names of interest in our Redlist index, including a Wikidata-based list of historians. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 08:46, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
- This is great. Thank you very much! Millworks (talk) 13:37, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 11
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Erin Whitten Hamlen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page HEA. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
editHello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
editWomen in Red 8th Anniversary | |
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |
