About 24K Friday and 99.5 RT

edit

I use right grammar and good writing style and I improve other articles. All of what I said is REALLY TRUE. Live with it! Underblast (talk) 14:15, 14 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

{{help me}}

Hi Maragool, I saw that you placed a {{helpme}} tag on your talkpage here (right above). Do you need help with anything? JamieS93 15:41, 14 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

{{help me}} I sense rudeness from the editor Underblast after he expressed his dislike of my editing his writing and commenting on his lack of good grammar. He seems to be alluding to not being capable of doing wrong, when I simply made corrections based on my first hand knowledge. Should I just quietly tolerate this? I am simply interested in better writing and correction of factual errors for those articles.Maragool (talk) 16:07, 14 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Find a reliable source (translation: a reputable website) and put in the article. Find the part that you want to source, and put the url between "ref" tags, like this: <ref>http://www.whatevertheurlwas.com</ref> There's a more sophisticated way to do it, but just getting the "ref" tags in will be a good start. There are REALLY TRUE things that you should know:

  1. I'm not an American. I'm a Filipino who listens to 99.5 RT. I'm also an Engineer.
  2. I'm here in Wikipedia to Create and Improve articles.
  3. I DO NOT HAVE A RUDE TONE. I ONLY HAVE A NORMAL & STRICT TONE.
  4. I play nice. I treat Administrators Such as User:Enric Naval & User:Orangemike nice.
  5. I want to introduce myself to you. I'm Engr. Blaine Manlapaz. What's your name?

{{help me}} I would like to report that I am offended that user User:Underblast is asking me to divulge my personal information in a confrontational tone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Maragool (talkcontribs) 02:31, 17 September 2008

Hi there. It would appear that User:Underblast is simply introducing himself to you. It is a good idea to limit the amount of personal information you give out over Wikipedia, and over any other online community for that matter, so I would advise you to use your best judgment in determining the amount of personal information you feel is safe to give out. If you do not like the tone with which you were addressed, I would suggest not responding to people who address you in a manner you feel is impolite. I hope this helps. --NickContact/Contribs 02:39, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hello! I received your help request via my talk page. I see that a few people have already contacted you. Do you still require assistance?   — C M B J   01:45, 19 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
