Request to move article Anastasios Giannoulatos incomplete

edit

You recently filed a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves to move the page Anastasios Giannoulatos to a different title - however your request is either incomplete or has been contested for being controversial, and has been moved to the incomplete and contested proposals section. Requests that remain incomplete will be removed after five days.

Please make sure you have completed all three of the following:

  1. Added {{move|NewName}} at the top of the talk page of the page you want moved, replacing "NewName" with the new name for the article. This creates the required template for you there.
  2. Added a place for discussion at the bottom of the talk page of the page you want to be moved. This can easily be accomplished by adding {{subst:RMtalk|NewName|reason for move}} to the bottom of the page, which will automatically create a discussion section there.
  3. Added {{subst:RMlink|PageName|NewName|reason for move}} to the top of today's section here.

If you need any further guidance, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Requested moves or contact me on my talk page. - JPG-GR (talk) 05:35, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Question re: Dimitris Patmanidis

edit

I am looking for information regarding the school shooting of 10-4-09 in Athens by Dimitris Patmanidis. Perhaps you can add some things from Greek news media.

--The wiki article said he was using two pistols that had been converted from 'sound pistols.' Is this supported by links to Greek media?

--The wiki article said the two victims wounded outside the school were hit from a distance of 150m away? Is this true? That seems terribly far for a pistol shot.

--Was the shooter wearing a black trenchcoat, and did he associate with other similar friends who wore this outfit?

--What else can you tell me about Patminides? It seems very little about his personal life/interests has been released. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Starviego (talkcontribs) 04:37, 17 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Relatively to the questions you have made: The facts mentioned in the 2 first :dots are mentioned in the greek media. [[1]] About the last two dots, it has been :published that he was unsociable and he has being mocked by other pupils for his appearance and behaviour. If I find anything :additional about his personal life and interests, i will add it to the article. --Lapost (talk) 05:03, 1 May 2009 (UTC) (Firstly here)Reply

Hi. I thought the PNG format was preferred over the gif format. In this case the speedy delete should go to the gif file, not the PNG file. Dr.K. logos 23:12, 6 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of File:Skai tv logo.png

edit

The file File:Skai tv logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Equivalent media under a free license at Wikimedia Commons. Not F8 owing to the different licenses.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
