Hello, I'm SunDawn. I noticed that you made a change to an article, 5K run, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 06:52, 8 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi , Thanks for your message. Its by mistake . Now added sources . Thanks Helloasir (talk) 06:55, 8 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
I have reverted you again. Those links you added are irrelevant to the article topic. There is no need to provide links to specific events in one region when there are hundreds of such events happening every day.
Articles do not need external links. They are a convenience, that is all. And they absolutely should never be used for publicity purposes, as you appear to be doing. ~Anachronist (talk) 03:51, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Anachronist Hi, Thanks. Sorry for it. now i got it. Helloasir (talk) 04:38, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
But want to add all the upcoming events and how can i do it ? @Anachronist Helloasir (talk) 07:11, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
You cannot. Wikipedia is never to be used for publicity purposes, and those events aren't relevant to the article. Wikipedia isn't a social media site for link sharing. Go to Reddit or Facebook for that. ~Anachronist (talk) 14:55, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Recent edit reversion

edit

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 13:15, 8 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Arjayay. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Tirunelveli. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:39, 18 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ok Got it . Helloasir (talk) 13:25, 18 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Tirunelveli. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:39, 18 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Startup India moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Startup India. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ratnahastin (talk) 06:18, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Startup India

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Startup India, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
