Flagicon use in The Face articles

edit

As Nikkimaria previously talked to you about the subject about the use of flagicons in The Face articles, [1], it would be helpful if you would stop using them as they go against WP:FLAGBIO. Please read through this to see why their use is unacceptable. Your previous edit summaries of "Add a national flag like The Face Thailand and Vietnam." are disingenuous because you added the flagicons to The Face Thailand and Vietnam and then used them to justify their use in the other articles. As Nikkimaria mentioned in her second post to your talk page, that should be a sign to remove them from those articles because none of the articles had them until you added them. Since the discussion has been started here again, please discuss here instead of reverting. If you continue to revert and added these flagicons back into the articles, it would be considered WP:Edit warring and you could be blocked from editing. Aspects (talk) 21:21, 30 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Since I left you this message, you added back the flagicons again and had two other editors below questioning your editing methods. Per WP:BRD, discussion have been started on your talk page and you need to engage with other editors or you risk being blocked from editing. You seem to think that you WP:OWN certain articles, just because you started or heavily contributed to articles, does not give you the justification to revert good-faith efforts from other editors. In this case, the flagicons go against the Manual of Style, so you WP:DISRUPTIVE editing is becoming WP:Edit warring. I am going to remove the flagicons again, and this is a final warning, that if you add them back, I will seek that you are blocked from editing for a time, so you will learn to edit cooperatively and using discussion when others disagree with you. Aspects (talk) 01:25, 11 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

It seems that he does not want to discuss with us respectfully. He ignored the warnings and continued to spam the post, showing that he does NOT respect the other editors, he would not engage with the other wikipedians, I'm pretty sure. So we should not warn him anymore, proposing to block him from editing is the best choice. - Trịnh Trương Hoàng Huy (talk) 06:24, 13 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Snowflake91 (talk) 09:35, 2 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style. Snowflake91 (talk) 09:41, 2 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Are you going to follow the table MOS guidelines or will at least discuss it, or will you continue to blindy reverting without even describing in edit summary? Snowflake91 (talk) 18:29, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Editing The Face (TV series)

edit

As User:Aspects previously talked to you, I think you are the editor who added the flagticons into the The Face (TV series) article. I wonder why you want to use those flags in the article, you want to show off that your country has a lot of people bringing two bloodlines? You are too bad, you use flags for your people but you prevent the other editors from adding flags to their people. These are the reasons why I has used flags for Vĩnh Thụy and Hồ Ngọc Hà:

Vĩnh Thụy was born and raised in France, he has a French father and a Vietnamese mother. He holds both French and Vietnamese nationalities
Hồ Ngọc Hà is also a French-Vietnamese, too. Her father is French and her mother is Vietnamese.

If you still deny what I say and sabotage this article stupidly, I will ask the board to ban you. I think that my English may be not good.. - Huy Trịnh (talk) 17:34, 5 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

After your recent block, I hoped you would have realized that you need to stop edit warring and start discussing issues other editors have with your work. Since you went on a string of edits that added back flagicons against WP:FLAGBIO on all of The Face season articles without edit summaries or talk page discussions, the exact issue that got you blocked in the first place, I started a discussion at the sysop's talk page that blocked you in the first place. Please join the discussion at User talk:Alex Shih#User:Golf-ben10. Aspects (talk) 18:00, 20 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Per WP:BRD, you cannot suddenly use edit summaries and revert again, when numerous editors have started discussions with you about the misuse of the flagicons in The Face articles. You need to stop reverting, because you are WP:Edit warring and could be blocked again for continuing the same edits despite conversations started telling you they are incorrect.
Television shows should use the date format that the country uses, therefore the articles are going to be different with U.S. version using the month day year date format and the other versions using the day month year date format. Aspects (talk) 03:13, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Molecule Extraction. I noticed that you made a change to an article, 2017 Southeast Asian Games, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 13:48, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Face Thailand (season 3). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 13:37, 29 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop making disruptive edits.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 01:02, 30 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at The Face Thailand (season 3)‎ shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach a dead end, you can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You've had five unsuccessful unblock requests. That's enough; I've revoked your talk page access because there's no reasonable chance of you getting unblocked at this point. This leaves you with WP:UTRS, but I strongly urge you to follow the advice given you above. Consider editing the Wikipedia for your native language for a while. English is difficult. It's perfectly fine for you to have some problems with the language, but that leads to other editors having to clean up the mistakes you make. It'd be best for you to get some experience in your native language, and then consider coming back here once your English is a little stronger. --Yamla (talk) 14:17, 16 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation

edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Golf-ben10, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
