Battle Of Swally

edit

Hi Dbkasar. I see you have made some changes to this article. Could you re-word that sentence you changed about Kanhoji Angre, since it does not make sense after your edit? Thank you. Mohnish Kamat 16:14, 23 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

English language and Marathi language

edit

Please stop adding your "theory" of English as a dialect of Marathi to both English language and Marathi language. Wikipedia is not a soapbox. --Angr 08:55, 25 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

OK,No problem.I thought to give new theory put forward by me .I will not add it again , it will be put in talk page.that will do?Dbkasar 09:37, 25 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
Please note that Wikipedia does not entertain original research. If you want to host your theories/research etc. you can start your own blog (choose a blog hosting service) or create a website at any free web hosting site (also see [1]). You can later include a link to your blog/website on the Wikipedia user page i.e. User:Dbkasar. utcursch | talk 11:10, 25 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

thanks for your suggestion ---Dbkasar 11:27, 25 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Germanic roots from Marathi (Germanic substrate hypothesis)

edit

Do you have any sources for these Germanic roots being from Marathi? They look so similar to the Germanic roots I'm surprised they haven't been noticed in any books or websites. - The Great Gavini spricht mit mir 17:58, 6 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Clans

edit

I have moved 96 maratha royal clans and Nordic clans to User:Dbkasar/clans to save the article from being tagged as original research (which I am sure it is). I suggest you get at least one second opinion from people who have already contributed to this page before you move it back into the (Main) namespace. Also, you should reformat the article using wikitable markup rather than using imperfect <pre> formatting. But please add it your blog straight away as suggested above. -- RHaworth 07:34, 16 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

uncited edits

edit

Please stop making uncited edits on Chalukya page. Also dont remove cited material put in by others because It changes the meaning of the citation !!!. We have been through this several times. If you continue your habit of removing/modifying cited information, You will be reported to an administrator and may face blockages. If you continue to make edits without logging in, your ip address may be blocked. I have left you a message on the Chalukya discussion page so you may understand what a citation is.thanks.Dineshkannambadi 02:05, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks a lot!! Atleast there is someone who is taking note of blatant lies put forth by few editors. Dear Kasar I have got a book of Mr. C.V Vaidya which will bring out the truth. Please contact me at vishuba2007@rediffmail.com I am now concentrating on Rashtrakutas and Yadavas of Deogiri. Vishu123 04:22, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
namaskar mr.kesar,

plz contact me on vishuba2007@rediffmail.com I will explain everything. 59.95.3.193 05:22, 11 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The brihadeshwar temple seems to be completed during chola rules and not during 1800's. I searched online and Bharatacha Itihaas (by Dr.Kolarkar) also states the similar theory.I think u have done a typo.
Can u plz tell me if their are any more Thanjavur related books with u? Sarvabhaum 12:15, 18 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Shivaji

edit

Hey Dbkasar, I've put this article up for review and i would like you to review it. It deserves a better rating than the one it currently has. The article seems to be well structured and covers the entire life of Shivaji. It no more seems to have the problem of NPOV and peacock terms. Kindly go through it. Thanks Kesangh (talk) 14:30, 11 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 10:42, 23 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Dhangar. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 10:42, 23 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. In Shivaji, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Raigad (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Proposed deletion of Yesaji Kank

edit

The article Yesaji Kank has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No new information is presented in this article. Compared with the very limited information presented elsewhere.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. blocking of account

edit

i do not understand why my account is blocked.what wrong information i have added?can the person who blocked my account explain this/ dbkasar

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Dbkasar (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

no wrong editing.someone had deliberately blocked my account so that he can add wrong chronological facts in maratha empire for example Yaswantrao holkar was in 19th century , his name is put before peshwa. Is it correct to put facts in such wrong fashion? i sincerely request to curb such tendencies and unblock my account

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Max Semenik (talk) 08:10, 5 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
