Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Titanic (1997 film), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. As your edit was reverted previously, please discuss this at the article's Talk page. To me, the piece of wood in question is clearly more like a panel than a plank, which I usually consider to be a long, thin piece of wood. Other options such as 'debris' might be a reasonable compromise? DonIago (talk) 12:57, 21 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Titanic (1997 film). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. 4TheWynne (talk contribs) 23:55, 21 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In a recent edit to the page Lord of the Flies, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. DuncanHill (talk) 16:43, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Magical Golden Whip. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Talk:List of 9-1-1 episodes that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magical Golden Whip (talk) 03:44, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, content you added to The Game Awards 2022 appears to be a minority or fringe viewpoint, and appears to have given undue weight to this minority viewpoint, and has been reverted. To maintain a neutral point of view, an idea that is not broadly supported by scholarship in its field must not be given undue weight in an article about a mainstream idea. Feel free to use the article's talk page to discuss this, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.   Hello, I'm Sundayclose. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, M3GAN, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 13:57, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at M3GAN. Sundayclose (talk) 00:20, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at M3GAN shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Sundayclose (talk) 00:20, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Mugen Train article

Hello. If I may ask, why did you change all mentions of Kyojuro's name to his surname "Rengoku" when the other characters are referred to by their first names? I did so to make it more consistent.

Thank you. Toebiscuit (talk) Toebiscuit (talk) 09:05, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

this is because everyone in the film except for akaza refers to him as rengoku plus everyone in the fanbase refers to him as rengoku Dangervest69 (talk) 16:13, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced edits

edit

You have been given many warnings about making unsourced edits. You have exhausted any assumption of good faith. READ WP:V and WP:RS. If there's something about "unsourced" that you don't understand, ask right here, right now, before you make another edit. After your next unsourced edit, you will lose your editing privileges. Sundayclose (talk) 17:37, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

what does unsourced mean? Dangervest69 (talk) 17:39, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Did you read WP:V and WP:RS? If you don't understand what you read, you need to propose all of your edits on the articles' talk pages before making the edits. Alternatively, you can seek a mentor at WP:Adopt-a-user and discuss all of your edits with that person before making any edit. Inability to understand the policies is no longer a valid excuse for you. Sundayclose (talk) 17:46, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Since you have continued to edit, I assume you have fully read and understood WP:V and WP:RS and that you no longer have any doubt about the meaning of "unsourced". Sundayclose (talk) 18:12, 29 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
