Thanks for your comments on the Kolob page and welcome to Wikipedia! It's always nice to have new people jump in to our pet projects. I am a member of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Latter Day Saint movement which works on Mormon and LDS related topics. I look forward to working with you. WBardwin 22:29, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

merging

Billlund said: "I'd like to see all of the merged entries separated so that they can ge categorized and searched individually"

  • Well, I too used to think like that, but have been convinced that there cant be. Look at Mary Kate and Ashley, I'm sure they have very individual personalities but they are the SAME in the eyes of the world. If you wanna see millions of rants whether or not they should be one article, go to their talk page. Article like this need to be merged. Supersaiyanplough|(talk) 05:51, 17 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject LDS

edit

Hello! I noticed you were on the list of members in the LDS WikiProject, and I was wondering if you were still interested in helping out there. You see, over the past few months, it appears that it has slowly drifted into inactivity. But you CAN help. Please consider doing both of the following:

  1. Take ONE thing form the To-Do list and do it. Once you're done with it, remove it from the list, and from the<>{{Template:LDSprojectbox}}<>, so we know its done. Keep the page on your watchlist. We have a backlog going for more than half a year. Please help to work on it, and remove it.
  2. Vote on the LDSCOTF, and work on it!
  3. Tell your friends (esp. LDS friends, & esp. Wikipedian friends) about this WikiProject, and enocourage them to join (and be active).

Remember: your involvement in this WikiProject is just that - involvement! Please help us out.

(Note: I'm sending this out to everyone who's name was on the membership list, so I will NOT be watching this page for a response. If you want to contact me, do it on MY talk page, please.)

Thanks for all that you do -Trevdna 15:50, 11 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

eating disorders

edit

Bill,

You are leaving comments on this page, which give the impression that you have some personal experience/credentials with eating disorders. Could you clarify?

Having spent the past decade as a parent of a child with an eating disorder [now thankfully recovered] and now as a counselor to other families who are currently in this struggle, I'm very concerned that current understandings about the etiology and treatment of these diseases is made available in every possible venue. The mortality rate for patients is shocking, especially for women between 15-24 years old.

This wikipedia page is rife with disinformation. I would love help getting it modernized and rooted in the science of evidence based treatment. Is this of any interest to you? ~~spotlydia~~ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spotlydia (talkcontribs) 22:24, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
