Dubious maps

edit

Hello! Please read Talk:Romania in the Early Middle Ages#A strange map and responde. Thank you!--B@xter9 20:10, 1 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have removed your 3D rotating maps of Mount Everest and Kangchenjunga. Their quality is very poor as they appear to be based wholly on SRTM data which is very incomplete in these areas. If you want to reinstate them you can get better DEM data from my site. Viewfinder (talk) 16:08, 21 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

3D Maps for Romanian Counties

edit

Hi! Nice work on the new maps for the Romanian counties. They look nice but I have an observation to make. There is not much contrast between the green background and the yellow border of the county. At certain resolutions, it is quite difficult to distinguish between the yellow border of the current county versus the white borders of the other counties. The older maps with red on white were making the county locations much more visible. Maybe you can play more with colors. Perhaps fill the county with red inside the yellow border? Also, it would be important to create English versions for these maps. BTW, why are they called 3D? Regards. --Codrin.B (talk) 06:44, 6 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Apcar Baltazar, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Symbolism and Realism. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please see WP:Copying within Wikipedia. I don't know where that content came from; if it is not your own writing, or if this was already on the Romanian wiki, it needs proper attribution. I can't tell what you did wrong on the Romanian wiki, but please don't export conflicts to our wiki. 209.51.172.142 (talk) 16:01, 30 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
