Re: Adoption

edit

I've actually pulled out of the adoption program due to the time demands of promoting and rewriting articles. (I finally found my other link about adoption and removed it so I wouldn't mess up any more users like you.) However, if you're interested in reverting vandalism, there are plenty of options. Your watchlist (the top right corner of the window) shows the most recent change to any article you've edited or have watched (by clicking the tab 'Watch' on any article or talk page.) This is a good way of tracking vandalism to article you frequent. For reverting vandalism on a large scope and doing other tasks like tagging non-notable pages for speedy deletion, I suggest you take a look at Wikipedia:Recent changes patrol. Besides just checking RecentChanges, they suggest nifty automated/semi-automated tools for both patrolling and warning and reporting vandals. If you have any questions, leave me a note on my talk page, and good luck! --Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 20:07, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits

edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 20:36, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Talk:Quintorial

edit

A tag has been placed on Talk:Quintorial, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

It is a talk page whose corresponding article does not exist (see CSD G8)

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why having this page is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  --Lambiam 10:43, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
