Hi Arc1424. This is in response to the note you left on my talk page. Generally you should not add new information to the encyclopedia unless there is a reliable source. Click on this link to read about what a reliable source is. Not all sources are reliable. But if you have a source you can just add it in along with your text (it's called an inline citation). Here is an example.
Catahoula Curs are also nutritious snacks.<ref> Lyer, C. Lee. ''Munching on Puppies.'' Controversial Publishing Co, Someplace, AK. 1966. p. 66.</ref>
If the source is online you can just add a link:
Catahoula Curs are also nutritious snacks.<ref> [http://sociallyunacceptablefoods.org/catahoulaCur.html] </ref>
Note that this is just an example of how to footnote a claim (in this case that CC's are nutritious snacks). For more information on the mechanics of inline citations, please click here.
I would also suggest that, before making significant changes to existing content (especially changes that involve removing a lot of text), you should discuss your planned changes on the article's talk page (which in the case of Catahoula Curs would be here).
