About Me
editI am a full time student at the University of Illinois Chicago, and a summer student at COD. My hobbies and passions include Indian classical dance- specifically Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi- Indian classical music, reading, and writing.
Career Ambitions
editInitially, I was very interested in Psychology. Specifically clinal or forensic psychology. However, after doing an internship, I quickly realized it was a passion and not a possible career choice. Now, I am a Computer Science + Design major at UIC, aspiring to go into the gaming field. At UIC I've had the opportunity to create one of my own games- which hasn't officially been published yet.
Contributions
editAs a graduated Bharatanatyam student, I've strived to spread the awareness of Arangetram- or the graduatation of a Bharatanatyam student- and have appeared in international newspapers and news channels for this. Furthermore, spreading peace through writing has been an aspiration of mine, and I published a book during my junior year of high school called Love is Pure, They Said. In my free time, I love volunteering at food shelters, and organizing volunteering services through an organization called SSE.

editSomething I like to live by is not staying in the past or getting anxiety about the future. Someone I look up to, Bella Hadid, says, "I think there's a right time for everything, and I'm a true believer that everything happens for a reason". I stand by this, and try not to have any regrets in life.
