Caroline Freund Caroline Freund is an American Economist. Since 2013, she is Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Freund was Chief Economist for the Middle East at the World Bank.

Education

Caroline Freund received a PhD in International Trade from Columbia University in New York. Her thesis advisor was Jagdish Bhagwati.
