I've an MA in International Studies specializing in International Development & Comparative Governance.

I've another MA in Political Science --- a result of becoming an ABD in Perpetuity after I decided not to finish my dissertation -- majoring in Comparative Politics, minoring in International Relations & Agricultural Economics. My research focus was on Southeast Asia; Nationalism; Ethnicity & Culture in Politics; de facto Failed States

I've a BA in Political Science & Philosophy (double major).

I blame philosophy for making me too long-winded and for making it impossible for me to find a way out of the weeds sometimes.

I'm something of a polymath and autodidact. While I no longer teach and never completed my PhD, I have used my skills to learn about a range of topics in sub-fields within history, micro-economics, political science; logistics; international political economy of trade in primary goods; and... well, I read a lot and probably think too highly of myself for it. But that's my fault to bare.

I taught as a fully independent instructor while working on my PhD for the better part of a decade, teaching classes such as 'Comparative Governance Around the World' ; "International Political Economy of Development"; 'Women & Minorities in Politics, Policy and Government'; 'Comparative Political Parties & Party Systems'

I currently design courses and work on my family's investing. Thanks to a series of illnesses I find myself able to get out less these days - and more idle time to learn more... and now to possibly return to Wikipedia and actually do work
