A recent study describing two new species of Grimpoteuthis uses Grimpoteuthidae (doi:10.1080/13235818.2022.2035889), as does WoRMS. The relevant pages were updated by Philippe Bouchet in September this year (see Grimpoteuthis G. C. Robson, 1932. Opisthoteuthidae is sometimes used for dumbo octopuses (e.g. here), but they might be referring to other genera that are also sometimes called dumbo octopuses (Opisthoteuthis, Cirroteuthis). We'd need other sources if there has been a change in classification of Grimpoteuthis. —  Jts1882 | talk  16:47, 20 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
