United States v. Ramsey (1926)

edit

Created by GregJackP (talk). Self nominated at 16:27, 16 August 2013 (UTC).

  • The length and date of creation of this article are fine but the hook is unsatisfactory as, as far as I can see, there is no reference for the fact that the trial ended the Osage Indian murders. This fact is mentioned, but not referenced, in the lead but not mentioned again in the body of the article. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:02, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
OK, I'll go back and either add the information to the article (with reference) or propose another hook. It will take me a day or so - I've got to find the source. GregJackP Boomer! 10:06, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
It is probably best to decline this nomination for now - I haven't had time to do the research that was needed to fix the article. GregJackP Boomer! 16:09, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

That seems a pity, how about this hook which seems acceptable to me. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 17:57, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

I like that hook - it covers the article well (and I don't have to do more research :D). Thanks! GregJackP Boomer! 03:54, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
  • This article is ready to go with ALT1 and I have struck out the original hook. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:01, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
