The Vulcan (2010)

Created by Sionk (talk). Self nominated at 01:47, 27 October 2013 (UTC).

Sorry for barging into your review; I gave the character count of the DYK checker tool which is useful to use (linked here). Review of the article: QPQ done; article created by Sionk on 22 October (evening); so nomination was made within 5 days; there are 3022 characters of readable prose; every paragraph has at least one source; no copyvios found; however, " with plans to rebuild it at the museum as it would have appeared in 1915" needs a source at the end to support the hook I sourced the last part of the hook, which is otherwise well sourced. (As an aside: do we need to know the colour the urinals were/is there a reason this is included?) All in all, good to go. Matty.007 11:43, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

Also, if you wanted, you could use one of the images from the article; but there is no guarantee of it being used on the main page. Matty.007 11:44, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
Thanks! I didn't include the image because the building itself would be minute when reduced to mini-thumbnail size. The colours of the wall tiles are mentioned, so I don't see a problem with mentioning the colour of the urinals - anecdotally (but hard to prove) the pub was well-known locally for its original urinals. Thanks for the swift reply; that was just a personal observation about the urinals. Matty.007 12:06, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
I've added a more suitable image, to the article and the DYK nom. Sionk (talk) 13:13, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
Image is freely licensed and used in article. Matty.007 14:51, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
  • Added, thanks, that one slipped past me. Matty.007 08:04, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
