Jenni Blong

  • New enough (thought it was weird that this article suddenly existed after I'd seen that it didn't), long enough and solid enough. Both hooks are good (and positive, which I think some people like to ensure when it comes to BLP hooks), though I think the character name could be dropped in the first hook (Honey isn't quite Willy Loman or Ricky Roma levels of recognisable). Try " that for her 1998 performance in the play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, the Daily Hampshire Gazette praised actress Jenni Blong for portraying her character "as a fragile simp with a dirty secret"?". Also, it might be worth getting an admin to delete some of the older edits in the page's history—everything before this revision is an artefact from multiple page moves from your user space. Other than that, I would say we're good to go. GRAPPLE X 06:14, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Poking around a little, it appears that ref 1 is at best misleading (see here for a source stating that Ron Livingston has been married to Rosemarie DeWitt for a few years, so if he was married to Blong it's since ended). The article doesn't actually mention a marriage, just the infobox, so losing it wouldn't harm its DYK eligibility. If you had a source dating their marriage that would obviously be better though. • Blong is actually married to Ron's brother, John (I may have been unintentionally confusing by linking John to Ron's early life section, as he is mentioned there). I've tweaked the entry to be more clear. I'll look into fixing the article history (I forgot to look into the userspace's history before I moved it). I like your suggested hook, and have placed it below:
  • OK, this is a decent enough article; date and length are fine, sources are good and the article is well-referenced. It's decently written also and the filmography is pretty comprehensive. The hook fact is referenced too. The one fly in the ointment is that while the hook is interesting, it's too long (over 200 characters). I'd suggest the following hook, which is hopefully a bit snappier as well as more concise. Prioryman (talk) 21:20, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks for reviewing. Your suggested hook works for me. Ruby 2010/2013 21:35, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
  • Good stuff. I'm happy to give this one the green tick. Prioryman (talk) 21:38, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
