Enemy Within release date

I posted this to the Enemy Unknown page a few days back prior to this being split into a separate article, just to more accurately describe the release dates on this game I wondered if it should be mentioned this game is being released (at least through Steam on PC) on Nov. 12th at 12 AM EST as opposed to the mentioned 15th. I'm unsure if this is just a disparity between the release of the PC expansion and the console full release, but just was something I noticed when reading through the article as I've been waiting for this release for some time so have had the date in mind for a good month now :) anyone else confirm this? Standalone?

It says here that the game is a standalone expansion but for example in the steam store it appears as downloadable content, that explicitly requires the base game. No Mac version anymore?

I can't find any Mac version, nor on Steam neither on 2K's website.
