I agree. I prefer the format of "Vilayet of X", but hesitated to chose it, because I saw titles of other article related with vilayet. Actually the format of "Vilayet of X" is major in sources. Takabeg (talk) 23:07, 7 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

So is this really the most common English translation? It seems pretty infelicitous, given that the "White Sea" was the Mediterranean, not the Aegean, and the province included Cyprus. — LlywelynII 19:28, 31 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
