Dissolution of 99.98% Ruthenium using CEM microwave DIGESTION UNIT

i HAVE TRIED TO DISSOLVE 99.98% Ruthenium in CEM digestion unit using HCL, HNO3 AND HF AT 260 degrees celsius. It took 2hours to have 95% dissolution, is there something that I am doing to inhibit the complete dissolution? Wikipedia is not really a help-line. However hydrated ruthenium trichloride dissolves nicely in water or alcohols as described repeatedly in Inorganic Syntheses, see [[1]] If you are looking for highly reproducible results, you might look for derivatives of this compound, such as salts of chlorocarbonyls.--Smokefoot (talk) 14:12, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
