Why is this article titled "PTR91F"?

edit

The PTR91F is a minor variant of the basic PTR91. Almost all advertising, references, etc, refer to the "PTR91" rather than the "PTR91F" (or any other variants) and it is "PTR91" that people will be searching for. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.127.177.163 (talk) 20:57, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Information in the article is not completely on topic

edit

As the other user mentioned, PTR91F is a specific variant of the PTR 91 line of rifles. The article also drifts away from the rifle and talks about the company. I will see about creating a page for PTR Industries, Inc. and add a list of the different rifles. Each variant might not be worthy of it's own page so I'll also add a brief description to the list. PTR91F as it's own page is probably not necessary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xiocian (talkcontribs) 18:41, 14 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Now PTR is marking its public statement and the private decisions that supported it with the “South Carolina Commemorative Edition Rifle,”
