  • Comment: Not convinced this meets WP:GNG requirements; all but one of the sources look like primary source government documents and records.
Reply- Please see WP:GEOFEAT, "Artificial geographical features that are officially assigned the status of cultural heritage or national heritage, or of any other protected status on a national level and for which verifiable information beyond simple statistics is available, are presumed to be notable."
  • Comment: Citation errors - one source point to a search engine; another has an incorrect URL that points to a duplicate source rather than the correct publication in the citation text.
Reply - These citation errors have been fixed.

Revelant text

edit

Under the Historical significance section, the following text was removed by an editor:

"The property is historically significant in architecture as it was designed and built in 1926 by the architect Frederick H. Reimers from Oakland, as one of the only illustrations of Spanish Vernacular architecture on the Monterey Peninsula. It is also significant in community planning for its conformity to the community planning structures of the Monterey Peninsula Country Club. To maintain the community character with a country club ambiance, individuals were not allowed to purchase property until elected as members of the club. Further measures were implemented to retain the setting's character, including clauses in deeds requiring company approval for all architectural plans."

I believe it should be added back to the article because it shows why the residence was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. This text is from the following source: [1]

Yet again Greghenderson2006, copying and close paraphrasing are two different things. Neither are acceptable, even if only the former is detected by an automated tool. Melcous (talk) 23:54, 14 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
