The easter weekend experience started last night with holy communion in our Moravaian church... Biggest time in Mamre Easter weekend, from Easter Friday Service plus another communion service, than on a Saturday afternoon when you just passes the church you would start to hear people laughing and talking then you would come to the grave yard this is where you would see smile's, hugs and kisses of people that did to see each other for a while, this is the first place where everyone see each other for the Easter weekend, here you will find the people that moved out of town ,that just needed to come back to there roots to find a bit of motivation for life and over Easter is just the best time to do this, there is no place like Mamre over easter weekend, Easter is the time that you dont care if you need to sleep on the floor because the beds is full of family and friends that you have missed over the years, early hours Sunday morning you just put your head out the door and just see lights on in the homes of your neighbours no one in the road,, then just suddenly you hear voices people thats passing your house then you know you need to start walking, this is the time when the community gets together at the Moravain church grounds and when the clock strikes 6:30 we get leaded by the Moravian Brass band sounds to the grave yard with our priests leading the pack, this is the time when we would listen to the names of our love ones that passed away from Easter the year before to that date... Its the most amazing Easter weekend you could ever experience... After this what you just had to add on to your weekend is to enjoy a nice cup of coffee with a warm doughnut in a back yard with family and friends before Sunday morning service.....

Im a Mamre child but are currently in Dubai... and its moments like this that a person realize, what we have as a community how rich we are just to have this moments....( when you away from it all)

Easter Weekend in Mamre must just be on everyone's to do list some point in there life's
