A lot. Sources, grammar, spelling, unencyclopedic tone, POV, Manual of Style, just from a first summary glance. – Chacor 21:01, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

The info where i got it was mainly reading through the season pages.Mitchazenia 21:22, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
We have to avoid self-referencing. Use the sources provided within the seasonal articles then. – Chacor 21:24, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm seeing a lot of "on the XXth", "on the YYnd", but without months! Who cares if the first storm of Year Z hit on the 5th, was it on the 5th of January or 5th of June!? – Chacor 13:27, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Form here onwards, any time I see a single date ("on the ZZth", I'm removing it. It doesn't hurt the text, and is useless alone. – Chacor 13:31, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Tropical storm Allison

edit

Just a minor note in the midst of my copy edit. Would it be worth mentioning that Alison is the only TS in history to have its name retired, or is that too far outside of the limited scope of this list? Torchiest talkedits 02:16, 29 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

It could be added due to the fact that the storm was retired because of the damage it caused. just make sure you add a source, or I'll do it need be. TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk) 02:19, 29 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Article is misnamed

edit

This article is not about hurricanes, it's about "tropical or subtropical cyclones." Either change the title or write an article that matches the nomenclature. Nickrz (talk) 15:52, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

I found an evacuation map for the Houston area in regards to hurricanes. This could be handy... http://www.surfsidetx.org/upload/page/0001/2017-zip-zone-map-small.pdf WhisperToMe (talk) 06:42, 17 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
