Acquisition by Avago

edit
In early 2014, Avago announced it will acquire LSI Corporation for $6.6 billion. LSI
Stockholders will vote on this proposed acquisition at a special meeting for stockholders
on April 9, 2014.

Now that the date of the stockholders' meeting has passed, the future tense should be changed to the past tense and the results of the meeting inserted. Dick Kimball (talk) 14:50, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Right after I inserted the above I checked the LSI home page to find that the merger (their description) was approved and that each share was redeemed for $11.15 in cash.
Avago Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: AVGO) announced Tuesday that it has completed its acquisition of LSI Corp. (NASDAQ: LSI) for $11.15 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at about $6.6 billion. LSI’s common stock will cease to be publicly traded on the Nasdaq after the closing bell Tuesday, and Avago will replace LSI on the S&P 500 after the close of trading on Wednesday,
May 7.
