Phaasaa Korat is halfaway between Central Thai and Northeastern Thai. I would say it is more a dialect of Thai than a dialect of Lao.
It is a dialect of Thai with some Ysaan influence.

Yes. Thai people in normal conversation still called the city name as Korat, its old name.Reply
