I expanded all but the IMDb footnote into full citations. IMDb isn't a reliable source (they accept user contributions without any editorial oversight) which makes it no different than citing another wiki, which isn't allowed per policy. Bridge Hunter is in the same boat, and http://nationalbridges.com/ is a human-readable reproduction of the FHWA's National Bridge Inventory database.

The maps are all good, but needed publishers, years, cartography and scale information. They still need section numbers/ranges (if book citations need page numbers, map citations need section numbers, per WP:V. Everything needed access dates. Imzadi 1979  02:02, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

I changed IMDb to Joliet Visitors Bureau, which is better anyway because it lists everything filmed at Joliet Prison, not just The Blues Brothers. And thanks Imzadi1979 for your cleanup work on IL 171. I'm relatively new to this.RogerD (talk) 03:16, 2 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Which town is that junction in?

edit

The junction of IL 171 and I-355 is in an unincorporated area between Lockport, Lemont, and Homer Glen. Judging from the official IDOT map of Will County, last revised 2010-04-21, retrieved 2012-07-01 it is closer to a piece of Lockport than either of the other two towns. I-355 incorporated its junctions with IL 171 and 143rd Street into a single, long interchange. Sections of this interchange are within Lockport city limits. OTOH, it could also be listed as Homer Township, since it is in an unincorporated area.

The junction of IL 171 and US 12/20/45 is clearly within Willow Springs, as shown on the official IDOT map of Lyons Township, last revised 1997-12-31, retrieved 2012-07-01. Though they function as a single interchange, this map shows that the border between Willow Springs and Justice neatly divides IL 171's junctions with US 12/20/45 and I-294 into two interchanges, one in Willow Springs and the other in Justice.RogerD (talk) 02:33, 2 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
