  • "Several critics commended the production elements of "I Wish You Would" for featuring a vintage feel of the 1980s while sounding fresh, but a few others deemed it a weaker track for Swift." I don't really think the words "vintage" and "fresh" are the best words to use in an encyclopedia when describing a piece of media. I know that these are technically stated by the sources in quotes, but maybe find alternative words for the lead?
  • I think Lyrics and composition is supposed to come before Release.
  • "By re-recording the albums, Swift had full ownership of the new masters, which enabled her to control the licensing of her songs for commercial use in hopes of substituting the Big Machine–owned masters." → "By re-recording the albums, Swift would have full ownership of the new masters, enabling her to control the licensing of her songs for commercial use in hopes of substituting the Big Machine–owned masters."
  • "The re-recorded track reached the Billboard Global 200 (26) and the countries of Canada (32) and New Zealand (30)." Change to "The re-recorded track reached the Billboard Global 200 (26), and individual charts for the countries of Canada (32) and New Zealand (30)."
  • "Swift shared on Tumblr that the song was part of the "sister" tracks with "Out of the Woods" and "Is It Over Now?"." → "Swift shared on Tumblr that the song was a "sort of sister track" to "Out of the Woods" and "Is It Over Now?"." Better wording, and also more specific to the source.
  • "In reviews of 1989, Alexis Petridis of The Guardian selected "I Wish You Would" as a bold track that features a "vintage sound thus far avoided by 80s revivalists"," I'd recommend putting quotation marks around "bold".

  • Ref 7 verifies its associated text.
  • Ref 10 appears to also verify its associated text, granted its citing the albums credits. I don't see a problem with this, though maybe someone else will.
  • Ref 19 ditto.
  • Ref 36 verifies its associated text, though see my suggestion on that specific sentence to make it a bit closer.
  • Ref 41 ditto.

"Image review"

An image review with no images. Automatic pass? Jokes aside, the only non-free file in use on this page is a song sample, which seems to be warranted. So pass in that regard.

That is all. Overall, a pretty good read that got me wondering if any more songs from my personal favorite Swift album could be notable. I'll put this on hold to allow for the issues/suggestions brought up earlier to be addressed. λ NegativeMP1 05:51, 3 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

I went ahead and swapped the two sections myself since it seems you forgot that, but other than that everything looks good. I'm passing this article, good job.   λ NegativeMP1 18:29, 3 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
